Hey! Thanks for the reply and suggestion. My Arkana's been behaving pretty alright otherwise, it's done a touch over 100251 km now. No weird noises or lights triggering off on the dash, just this pesky key fob issue. I'm due for my next service soon, so I guess I'll get the mechanic to give the bumper antenna and its connections a thorough check when I visit the workshop. It's quite a relief to hear that your issue got sorted! Gives me hope. Cheers!

Yo! Sounds like our circumstances could be somewhat similar then. I mean, the mileage on my Kadjar was around the same when I ran into the whole key fob predicament. From what you're describing, it appears your Arkana's in decent nick apart from the fob issue. So yeah, definitely raise this with your mechanic during the next service. Explain the whole situation; the no-noise, no-light scenario is pretty much exactly what happened to my Kadjar before it turned out to be a cable issue. Maybe they can check the connections and antenna for any damage or wear and tear. It might save you some grief later on, you know! Fingers crossed! Best of luck with it. Keep us posted on how it goes!

Hey, cheers for your advice. Seems like the bumper antenna is the prime suspect here, alright. I will definitely make sure the mechanic checks all the connections in detail. Your experience has been super helpful, got me thinking in the right direction, and a big consolation going into my next service! I'll drop an update once I've got some news to share. Till then, fingers crossed and hoping for the best! Catch ya soon.

Hey there! Looks like our issues are pretty similar. I had this funky problem with my 2018 Renault Kadjar, just a few years older than your Arkana. From my experience (I'm no expert, but know a thing or two about cars), it turned out the whole havoc was caused by a defective cable connection to the bumper antenna. My workshop helped me get it sorted. Had to spend about 260 euro though, but at least it solved the mess. Could you tell me more about your car's condition? The mileage, any noise, lights on the dash? All these might help narrow down the possibilities. Anyway, just a suggestion. Good luck with sorting it out!
