Seeking Solutions for Non-Functioning Seat Heater in 2022 Lexus LC Hybrid

Seat heating without function

Hey! I'm having a bit of a worry about my 2022 Lexus LC Hybrid (mileage 156,193 KM). My seat heating has stopped working and I'm guessing it's a problem with the heater itself. Last time I had any issues, my mechanic visit was a total nightmare. Anybody else had this problem with their car? Any suggestions on reliable mechanics or do-it-yourself repairs? Cheers!

Hey! Had a similar issue with my 2019 Lexus LX just last year. One frosty morning, realized that my seat heater was on the fritz. Just like yours, my car has racked up a decent mileage (around your mark, actually). Turned out, it was the heating mat that had given up the ghost. Honestly, it was a minor issue, so no need to fret much. Visited my trusty garage and they sorted it out in no time. If you're savvy with a bit of DIY, you could definitely check it out yourself. But my experience was hassle-free with the garage. Couldn't recommend it enough. Keep warm! Cheers

Hey! Oh such a relief to hear someone else had the same issue! This heating mat situation though, not going to lie, caught me off guard. I was thinking it's probably something a bit more serious, so glad to know that it's mostly a minor issue. Recalling your situation, would you remember how much you had to shell out to get it fixed? Just trying to get an idea on what it might cost me. Also, post fixing, were there any other issues that sprung up later with your LC? Thanks a lot for your help. Cheers!

Hey again, Glad to hear you're feeling a bit more relieved! As for the cost, I had to part with 390€ to get the heating mat replaced. Felt a bit steep at first but nothing too outrageous when you consider the comfort of a warm seat on a cold day, right? Now, about any subsequent issues after the fix...none whatsoever! Since I saw my mechanic and got that heating mat replaced, the seat heater's been working like a charm. No problems. So, I'd definitely recommend getting it sorted sooner rather than later. Hope it all works out smoothly for you. Cheers

Hey! Thank you for all your insights, really appreciated! Seems like the cost is a small price to keep my behind warm this winter, huh? And great to know that you didn't face any hitches post-repair, gives me hope that once fixed, it'll be good as new. I'll surely drop by my mechanic's place and get this issue resolved soon. Hopefully, it stays smooth sailing just like it was for you. Take care and stay warm! Cheers!
