Yo! Good to hear that you managed to sort your light issues. My Lodgy's clocked at 26304 KM, got it serviced recently. The problem with the lights...well, it's hard to spot a pattern. But it seems to happen more often at night or when I switch between high beam and low. Hope that gives a bit more context. I imagine it might be a similar problem with the plug connection, but I guess I'll take it to a service station just to be sure! Thanks for sharing your experience.
Hey again! It's a bummer dealing with these unpredictable light issues, right? Especially at night - safety first, after all! Your mileage suggests your Lodgy still has plenty of life in it, so let's hope it's a minor problem. The fact that it's happening more when you're switching between high and low beam might be a clue. It could be to do with the connection or maybe even the switch itself. But like you said, better let the pros have a look at it. It's always better to be safe, and if it's something as simple as they fixed on my Logan, it won't be too hard on the wallet. Let us know what you find out. Could be another lesson for us DIY danglers. Stay safe on the road! Cheers!
Hey, couldn't agree more about safety and letting the pros handle it. I'm definitely not a DIY pro like some of you here! I'll book a slot at the service station this weekend and will certainly update you once I have a diagnosis. Who knows, it might just be another lesson for all us Dacia owners. Again, thanks for the information and the support. Will catch up soon. Safe driving! Cheers!
Hey there, I've got a 2014 Dacia Logan, pretty close to your Lodgy. I'm no mechanic, but I've gained some experience fixing minor stuff on my ride. Had a similar issue when my lights started acting funky. that was annoying! Turned out to be a faulty plug connection, and my local workshop managed to fix it. Cost me around 222€. Not sure though, if it's the same issue with your car. You got any more info on when the lights turn on? This could be super helpful for diagnosing the problem. Cheers!
