Seeking Troubleshooting Tips for a 2020 Seat Tarraco's Malfunctioning Headlight Cleaning System

Hey folks, I've got a 2020 Seat Tarraco, Gasoline engine that's acting up. The issue? Headlight cleaning system's completely out of whack. I'm guessing it could be the rear window wiper fluid pump signal error but I'm not certain. Anyone out there faced the same issue or might know what's up? Please share your troubleshooting tips and how your workshop handled it if you've been through this. Cheers in advance!

Hey! Slightly different model, but I had the same issue in my '22 Seat Ateca. Just an average Joe here with low car experience, but my workshop dude traced it back to the pump cable connection or a defective relay. After some nifty handiwork, he had it fixed for about 165 Euro. Got us both scratching our heads though! Think you got the same thing going on? What motor you running in your Tarraco? Any other related problems you noticed?

What's up? You nailed it! My Tarraco's got the same gasoline engine like yours. As for other related problems, nah, nothing that I can put my finger on. I've got around 63250 KM on it, just had it serviced a while back. Huh, a pump cable connection or defective relay, eh? That's something to think about. I'll get my garage guy to give it a look over. Thanks for sharing the details. Hoping it won't empty my pocket too much though. You never know with these Euro, right? Cheers!

Hey there! I'm glad I could help. It's uncanny how these things pop up, ain't it? Yeah, your '20 Tarraco shares the same engine, so there's a high chance of a similar issue. Just make sure your mechanic does a thorough check on that pump cable connection and the relay. As for the pocket damage, well, yeah- it does sting a bit, but you know, better be safe than sorry. Look at it this way, ain't no use of having a mighty beast like a Seat Tarraco if you can't have those headlights shining bright, right? Best of luck and fingers crossed it won't be too heavy on the Euro! Keep us posted, yeah? Cheers!

Spot on! There's no point in having a powerhouse like a Seat Tarraco and can't even have those headlamps bright enough, right? Thanks for the solid advice. I'll certainly be keen on getting the cable and relay checked first. As for the Euro, well, at least the ride is worth it. I'll keep you in the loop on how things go. Cheers and thanks a ton for the help!
