Seicento cruise control failure
Summary of the thread
The cruise control on a 2002 Fiat Seicento stopped working, displaying an error message on the speedometer and storing an error in the memory. Initial troubleshooting suggested checking the fuses, which were found to be intact. Further investigation pointed towards a possible defective cable or plug connection, which was confirmed upon professional diagnosis. The issue was resolved by repairing the defective plug connection at a cost of 95€.

Thanks, I checked the fuses, and they're all good. Could it be the actuator or something in the steering wheel? Trying to figure out what's involved before I take it in.

Actuator or steering wheel is possible, but with the error message, a defective cable or plug connection is more likely. The error message could mean a signal issue. A workshop visit is probably best for a proper diagnosis.

That's frustrating. The cruise control system can be sensitive on these. Have you checked the fuse box for blown fuses related to the cruise control or engine management? A faulty fuse is often the simplest thing.
