Seicento electrical system malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Fiat Seicento experienced multiple electrical malfunctions, including non-functional AC, spray nozzles, and mirror heating. The initial suspicion was a fault in the fog sensor system, possibly due to a defective cable or plug. After ruling out fuses and battery voltage issues, attention returned to the fog sensor. Cleaning a corroded connector on the fog sensor harness resolved the issues.

I checked the fuses and voltage, and they seem normal. I still think the fog sensor might be the problem. Could a defective fog sensor connection influence the AC and heated mirrors?

Okay, if the fuses and voltage are good, that rules out the easy stuff. Given the symptoms, it seems you might be right about the fog sensor. A faulty connection in the fog sensor wiring harness influencing the AC and mirror heating is possible. A workshop visit will give you that final confirmation.

I investigated and found a corroded connector on the fog sensor harness. Cleaning it fixed everything! The total repair cost was 95€ for the cleaner and my time. I appreciate your comments.

That sounds frustrating! I don't know much about electric vehicles, but it's odd that so many systems are failing. Have you checked the climate control and mirror heating fuses? It's basic, but sometimes it's that simple. Could the battery voltage be low? I heard that can cause strange things. I'd check those before assuming it's the sensor.
