Seicento electronic gremlins
Summary of the thread
A 2000 Fiat Seicento with low mileage was experiencing electronic issues, including memory errors and a dead navigation system, suspected to be due to a software problem in the control unit. The car was still operational but displayed persistent error lights. A workshop diagnosed the issue as implausible programming in the control unit, and after a software reset, the problems were resolved.

Well, it starts and drives, but the error light is always on, and the malfunctioning stuff is still malfunctioning. When you say "bricked" do you mean like, totally unable to start? I'm guessing a software reset might help, but I'm no expert. Any thoughts?

Yeah, bricked as in totally dead! If it starts and drives, sounds like it just needs a proper recalibration. That error message sounds serious though, a workshop can read the ECU, I'd suggest taking it in.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop. Turns out the programming of the control unit was indeed implausible, after a reset it works now. Cost me 240€, but hey, at least it's fixed!

Whoa, that sounds frustrating! A software glitch on a Seicento? Is it completely bricked, or just acting weird?
