Yes, the steering feels heavier at times, and the vibration is noticeable. You had the same thing? Was it the angle sensor? Did you fix it yourself or need a mechanic? Any wheel alignment issues after?

Yep, heavier steering and vibrations, exactly the same. I'm no mechanic, so I took it straight to a workshop. They confirmed it was the steering angle sensor. Best to get it checked professionally, I reckon.

Thanks! You were spot on. Faulty coding of the steering angle sensor. Sensor replacement, recalibration, and wheel alignment cost 195€. Everything's working perfectly now!

I drive a Seicento too. Steering getting heavier and vibrating? Sounds like the angle sensor on the steering column. Did you check that?
