Summary of the thread
A 2000 Fiat Seicento experienced wiper failure, with error memory indicating a fault. The initial suspicion was a bad cable or plug, with concerns about potential repair costs. Thanks! I haven't checked the motor itself, focused on the switch and wiring. Was the motor the problem for you, or something else?

Yeah, well, I'm no expert, but it was all tangled up. Had to bring it in. Best bet, go to the workshop. They'll sort it out quick.

Seicento eh? Sounds familiar. Had the same problem. Wiper blades just wouldn't budge. Did you check the wiper motor?
