Sentra IAT sensor issue

I've got a 2016 Nissan Sentra with a gasoline engine and 111026 km on it. The check engine light is on, and the car feels like it's lost power. I ran diagnostics and it shows an error related to the intake air temperature sensor. Engine runs rough too. Could it be a faulty IAT sensor?

Interesting. I had a similar issue with my Sentra. Check engine light, reduced power... Sounds like your IAT sensor could indeed be the culprit. Have you noticed any difference in fuel consumption?

I haven't checked fuel consumption specifically, but it does seem like I'm filling up more often. Is that what you experienced as well?

Yes, increased fuel consumption was definitely a symptom. Given the check engine light, power loss, and now the fuel consumption, I'd say it's highly likely. I ended up having the sensor replaced at a workshop. It might be wise to do the same.

Thanks for the advice. I had the intake air temperature sensor replaced, as suggested. The error is gone, engine runs smoothly, and power is back. Total repair cost was 155€ Appreciate the help!
