Sentra Sunroof Initialization Error
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Nissan Sentra owner experienced a "Sunroof not initialized" error, with the sunroof and sunblind becoming non-functional after some unrelated coding work. The issue was resolved by having a workshop re-initialize and recalibrate the sunroof system, which suggests that the control module may have needed a reset due to the coding interference.

The coding wasn't supposed to touch the sunroof at all, just some lighting. What fixed it for you? Did you try anything yourself, or did you take it to a shop? Trying to avoid a huge bill.

I thought I could fix it myself, but I couldn't figure it out. The workshop had to re-initialize/calibrate the sunroof system. The control module sometimes needs a reset. I’d recommend taking yours in, especially if the coding might have scrambled something.

Thanks! Shop recalibrated the sunroof and it’s working now. Cost 75€. Cheers!

Sounds like what happened on my Sentra. It wasn't after coding, though. Was the coding related to the sunroof system, or something else? That might be the key!
