Sequoia Audio System Failure

I had a similar problem with my Sequoia, but it was more of a sound distortion, especially at lower frequencies. Did you notice any change in sound quality before the audio cut out?

There was no sound distortion or degradation before the audio failure. It was a sudden and complete cessation. Does this indicate a different issue?

A sudden loss of all audio does sound different than my gradual distortion issue. It's hard to say without diagnostics. It may still be a speaker issue, or the head unit or amplifier. Considering it's a complete failure with no warning, I'd have a workshop look at it to avoid further component damage.

I scheduled a service appointment. The diagnosis was a defective bass speaker, as suspected. The repair cost 280€.
