Sequoia ECU Problems

I'm experiencing some serious issues with my 2010 Toyota Sequoia, gasoline engine. I've noticed a significant reduction in engine power, and a diagnostic check showed an error stored in the error memory. Has anyone encountered similar ECU problems? I'm quite worried.

I had something similar happen with my Sequoia. Any chance it's the main relay? That threw my whole system off. You might want to check your automotive electronics for defects.

Thanks for the quick reply! How did you figure out it was the main relay? Did your error memory state that?

The error codes pointed toward general ECU malfunction, but after some diagnostics, the workshop identified a defective main relay. I'd recommend getting your vehicle electronics checked by a professional to confirm.

Thanks again! I took it to a workshop as you suggested. Apparently, the main relay was indeed the culprit. The ECU was defective because of it. Cost me 120€, but now it runs smoothly after the ECU repair and system reset.
