Thanks! I did a quick scan and it threw a code related to the pressure sensor. I was just hoping it was something simpler before diving into replacing it. Did you end up replacing the sensor yourself, or did you take it to a shop?

Given the potential complexities associated with exhaust systems and vehicle emissions regulations, I opted to engage a qualified automotive technician for the sensor replacement. Such professionals possess specialized diagnostic tools and expertise to ensure accurate calibration and adherence to environmental standards. While a do-it-yourself approach is feasible, it is imperative to consider the potential ramifications of improper installation on overall vehicle performance and regulatory compliance. It may be judicious to seek professional assistance.

Appreciate the advice. Seems like getting it done professionally is the safest bet. Just got it back from the workshop. Turns out it was indeed the exhaust back pressure sensor. Cost me about 245€ to get it sorted. Runs like new now!

Greetings. I have encountered comparable symptoms previously with my Sequoia, which led to a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. It appears that a defective exhaust back pressure sensor can indeed precipitate these issues. Have you considered the implications for your vehicle emissions, and have you looked at the sensor values using an OBD scanner?
