Sequoia massage seat failure
Summary of the thread
The massage function in a 2022 Toyota Sequoia Hybrid's driver's seat is not working, with an error code indicating a potential issue. The problem might be due to a defective cable or plug connection. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by checking for loose connections under the seat. It is recommended to have a certified Toyota workshop diagnose and fix the problem to avoid further complications.

Thanks for the insight. Could you tell me where the plug was located? Was it easily accessible, or did you have to dismantle part of the seat?

On my A8, it was under the seat towards the front. You didn't have to dismantle anything, just reach under and feel around. But honestly, these systems are complex. Considering it's a new Sequoia and you've got an error code, you're probably best off having a workshop take a look. It's likely a simple fix, but could save you a lot of hassle.

I appreciate the advice. I'll schedule an appointment with a certified Toyota workshop to diagnose the issue. The estimated repair cost is 95€.

Hey, that sounds annoying! I had a similar problem with the massage seats in my old Audi A8. The massage function just quit, and it turned out to be a loose connection under the seat. Have you checked for anything obvious like a disconnected plug?
