Sequoia Tire Pressure Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Toyota Sequoia is experiencing persistent low tire pressure alerts despite the tires being properly inflated. The issue could be due to a faulty tire pressure sensor, possibly because of a depleted sensor battery. A suggested solution is to have a technician inspect and potentially replace the sensor to resolve the problem.

Thanks! I did check with a gauge. The readings match what the system is showing, but they're all a bit low. Even with the tires inflated, could the sensor still be the problem?

Ugh, sounds familiar. So annoying. Yeah, it's totally possible the sensor itself is bad, even if the pressure is okay after you inflate them. Those sensors don't last forever. I ended up just taking mine to a workshop. They swapped out the sensor, and the problem vanished. Honestly, probably the quickest way to deal with it. So frustrating, isn't it?

Thanks for the confirmation and sharing your experience. I'll get a technician to check the tire pressure sensor. They quoted about 280€ for the repair. Appreciate the help!

Hey there! I've got a Sequoia too. I actually ran into something similar a while back with my tire pressure. Kept getting those annoying warnings. Did you actually CHECK the tire pressure with a gauge? Sometimes the sensors go haywire for no good reason, and you might not even HAVE a flat. What sort of pressure are the sensors reporting?
