Sequoia Turn Signal Error

My 2001 Toyota Sequoia, gasoline engine, is throwing a turn signal error. Mileage is 102811 km. The error memory stores a fault, and I get an error message displayed on the speedometer, plus an obvious lighting fault. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else run into this?

Bulb filament is intact and the lens is fine. No corrosion in the socket either. Where does the turn signal wiring harness usually run, and are there any common points of failure I should focus on before tearing everything apart?

You're right. Took it to the shop. Faulty wiring connection, as suspected. Repair and lamp replacement cost 95€. Thanks for the advice.
