Sequoia weak heat water valve
Summary of the thread
The initial problem with the 2020 Toyota Sequoia was weak heating, described as a lukewarm breeze, despite the cooling system and heater core appearing fine. A potential cause suggested was a faulty water valve or its cable connection. After taking the vehicle to a workshop, it was confirmed that the issue was indeed with the water valve and its cable connection, which was then replaced, resolving the heating problem.

Car valve, huh? I hadn't really considered that. Where is that even located, and is it easy to check the cable and plug myself, or am I better off taking it to a mechanic?

The cable or plug connection can be defective. It is difficult to specify where the valve is located exactly. I recommend you go to the workshop.

Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on! Turns out it was indeed the water valve, and the cable connection was faulty. They replaced it for 95€, and now my heating is blasting hot air again! Thanks a bunch for the tip!

I had a similar heating problem with my Sequoia. Do you suspect the car valve? If so, did you check the cable or plug connection to the component?
