Thanks for the quick reply! The battery is only about a year old, so I wouldn't expect it to be failing already. Where is the battery sensor located, and is it something I can easily test myself?

Okay, a year old battery should be fine. Honestly, I'm not sure exactly where the sensor is located, or how to test it yourself. I just took mine to a workshop, they diagnosed it pretty quickly. It may be worth a visit to a pro if you are unsure.

Thanks again! I appreciate the suggestion. I took it to a workshop, and you were spot-on - it was indeed the battery sensor! They replaced it, and everything seems to be working fine now. Repair ended up costing 315€.

Hey, I had similar problems with my Serena. Is the battery new or older? Also, did you check the battery sensor? I had all those symptoms - error lights, flickering, the works - and it turned out to be a defective battery sensor causing the charging issue. How old is your battery?
