Serena Stalling Rough Idle

Alright, fellow Serena drivers, I'm at my wit's end! I've got a 2016 Nissan Serena e-Power hybrid with about 159k km on the clock. Lately, it's been running rough, stalling at idle sometimes, and the check engine light is mocking me constantly. Acceleration is jerky as hell. I suspect it might be a defective ignition coil, maybe a bad connection on a cable or plug. Anyone else seen anything like this? Driving me nuts!

Rough running, eh? Stalling? Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my Serena. Check those ignition coils. The cable or plug connection is most likely defective. Seriously, it could save you a lot of headaches. What error codes are you getting?

Error codes, right! Knew I forgot something. I'll have to check the error codes. But you are saying that you had the exact same symptoms (rough idle, stalling, check engine light) and it was the ignition coil? Any chance you remember which coil it was?

Yup, exact same symptoms. Sadly I don't remember which coil was faulty. I just took it to the workshop to get it checked and fixed. Best advice I can give you, seriously.

Thanks a million! Looks like a trip to the shop is in order. I will get the error codes read, and get the defective ignition coil replaced (turns out it was the first ignition coil). Grand total: 95€. Thanks again for the help!
