Yeah, I had a quick look, but couldn't see anything obvious. Where exactly should I be looking for the defective cable or plug connection?

On my BMW it was right behind the washer fluid reservoir. Honestly, without taking things apart, it was hard to spot. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop; they'll find it in minutes. Saved me a lot of headaches.

Alright, thanks for the advice. I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. Turned out to be a corroded connector. 95€ later, and it's all fixed. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old BMW 3 series a few years back. Turned out to be a dodgy connection. Have you checked the cable and plug going to the heater itself?
