Siena Siren Communication Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Fiat Siena diesel displayed a "siren communication fault," leading to a non-functional alarm. The issue was suspected to be related to a wiring problem, specifically a faulty plug or cable connection to the siren. After checking the connections, it was confirmed that a bad plug was the cause, and the problem was resolved by replacing it.

Yeah, I had a look, but didn't dig too deep. Where exactly should I be prodding around? Any specific plugs?

Fiat alarms can be tricky. Could be a dodgy plug or cable. I'd check those connections thoroughly. It's likely to be that. If you aren't comfortable, a workshop could diagnose it pretty quick.

Cheers! Booked it in. Turns out it was a bad plug, like you said. Cost me 95€ to fix. Thanks!

Hey, sounds like a pain. Dead alarm screams wiring issue, right? Have you checked the basic connections to the siren itself?
