Siena Solar Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Fiat Siena owner experienced a solar sensor error and low heating output, suspecting a defective cable or plug connection as the cause. After consulting others and considering potential issues with the sunlight sensor's wiring, the owner took the vehicle to a workshop. The problem was confirmed to be a faulty connection, which was repaired, resolving the issue.

Not entirely. I haven't had a chance to deeply inspect it myself yet. Where exactly should I be looking for cable or plug issues with the sunlight sensor? Any specific points to check?

I remember I was having trouble finding the defective plug. Just take it to a workshop, they will tell you whats wrong

Thanks. I ended up taking it to a workshop and indeed it was a faulty connection. Repair cost was 95€. Problem solved.

I've had similar heating issues in my Siena. Though it wasn't exactly the solar sensor itself throwing the code, but are you sure the sunlight sensor cable or plug are defective?
