Sienna Knock Sensor Issue

Hey, I'm having an issue with my 2018 Toyota Sienna with a gasoline engine. The check engine light is on, and I'm getting higher fuel consumption and uneven idling. I think it might be the knock sensor, maybe a bad cable or plug. Anyone else seen this?

I had something similar happen with my Sienna. Check engine light, rough idle sometimes. Never figured out the fuel consumption though. Was it throwing a specific code related to the knock sensor?

Thanks! Yeah, the diagnostic tool gave me an error code for the knock sensor. Did you get the same code with your symptoms?

Yeah, same code. Honestly, I poked around a bit, checked the connection like you did, but didn't find anything obvious. Eventually just took it to a shop. Turned out to be a bad sensor. Cost about 95€ to replace.

Thanks for confirming. I'm going to take my Sienna to a local shop for a checkup and probably replace the knock sensor. I'll have them look at the cable and plug too. Appreciate the help!
