Sienna Mirror Heating Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Toyota Sienna Hybrid is experiencing a mirror heating issue, with both side mirrors not functioning. The fuses have been checked and are fine, but an OBD reader shows an error related to the mirror heating circuit. The problem might be due to a defective cable or plug connection. It is suggested to take the vehicle to a mechanic for a professional inspection and repair.

Thanks for the quick reply! It seemed to happen pretty suddenly, I think. One day they were working, and the next, nothing. Did the error code you got point to anything specific, or did you just have the symptom with no heating?

Yeah, it was pretty much the same for me, sudden failure. Honestly, I didn't bother with the error codes, I just took it straight to my local workshop. Turned out to be a loose connection or something, they fixed it pretty quickly. If you've already checked the fuses, it's probably best to let them have a look, could save you a lot of time and headache!

Okay, sounds good. Thanks for the info! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll take it to a workshop. They quoted me around 95€ for the repair, mentioning a defective cable or plug. Hopefully, that fixes it!

Wow, that's strange! I have a Sienna too, although I'm not sure about the year, and I had a similar problem last winter. My mirrors wouldn't heat up at all, even when it was freezing outside. Did you notice if it happened suddenly or gradually stopped working?
