Sienna Oxygen Sensor Heater Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Toyota Sienna hybrid is experiencing a check engine light and increased fuel consumption, with an error code indicating an oxygen sensor heater failure. The problem may be due to a faulty heater element in the oxygen sensor. Checking the cable and plug connection to the sensor is suggested, but if the connector appears fine, visiting a workshop for further diagnosis and repair is recommended.

Good shout! I'll take a peek at the connector. When you say similar, do you mean heater element issue, or something else? The light's pretty constant, doesn't seem to want to go away.

Yep, heater element issue on the O2 sensor for sure. If the connector looks okay, honestly, I'd just take it to a trusted workshop. Those sensors can be a pain to test without the right gear.

Cheers! I suspected as much. Connector looks fine, so it's workshop time. Estimate is around 95€, so not the end of the world. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!

Whoa, that sucks! I had a similar issue with my Sienna, though I can't remember the exact year. Check the cable and plug connection to the O2 sensor itself. Is the light constant, or does it come and go?
