Sienna Parking Aid Failure

Hi, I've got a 2023 Toyota Sienna hybrid with about 63k km on it. The parking aid system seems to have failed. The display says 'Parking assistant without function' and the error memory confirms the fault. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone seen this before?

I have a Sienna too, and I had a similar issue with the parking assist a while back. Was it completely dead, or just intermittent? Did you check the control module for any visible damage or corrosion around the connectors?

Thanks for the reply. It's completely dead, no function at all. Where exactly is the control module located? I'd like to give the connections a look before I take it in.

Mine was totally dead as well. Honestly, without the proper diagnostic tools, it's tough to pinpoint. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose if it's a faulty ultrasonic sensor, radar sensor, or a proximity sensor issue. Could be a short somewhere too.

Appreciate the advice. Took it to the shop, and you were right, it was a bad connection. They charged me 95€ to fix it. Thanks again!
