Sienna Stalling Issue

Hey, I've got a 2021 Toyota Sienna Hybrid with about 73000 km on it. Lately, it's been acting up. Sometimes it won't start, other times it stalls when idling. The check engine light is on, and the engine runs rough. I've also noticed higher fuel consumption. I scanned it and there was an error stored. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Sienna. Check the fuel pump – especially the cable and plug connection. Is the check engine light on?

Thanks for the quick reply! Where exactly is the fuel pump cable/plug located? I'm not super familiar with car mechanics, so any pointers would be great.

Honestly, it's a bit tricky to get to without proper tools and knowledge. Given all the symptoms, especially the stalling and error code, I'd strongly suggest taking it to a trusted workshop. Could be a defective connection, but best to get it properly diagnosed.

You were right! Took it to a shop, and it was indeed a defective fuel pump cable connection. Repair cost me 95€ Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
