Silverado GPS Failure

I own a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado with a diesel engine, mileage is at 175007 km. I am experiencing issues with the GPS. The error memory shows an error, and the navigation system receives no GPS signal. Could a defective GPS antenna be the cause?

I had a similar issue with my Silverado. Have you checked for any aftermarket electronics that might be causing signal interference with the GPS module?

In my case, it was indeed the GPS antenna. Considering you have checked for interferences, it's quite likely that your GPS antenna is defective too. I'd advise visiting a workshop for a diagnosis.

Thank you for the advice. I had the GPS antenna replaced, and the problem is now resolved. The repair cost was 200€.
