Skoda Citigo e IV Siren Fault

Sounds like a familiar problem. I had something similar happen on my older Octavia a while back. First thing I'd check are the basics: Have you had any work done recently that might have disturbed any wiring in that area? Also, have you tried a simple alarm reset? Sometimes that clears it.

How do you mean 'alarm reset'? Just disconnecting the battery?

Disconnecting the battery might do it, but I doubt it. If the fault is still there, it will reappear right away. Considering the age and the error message itself, it really does sound like a bad connection. Honestly, for the sake of vehicle security, I think you're best off getting it checked out by a workshop. They'll be able to properly diagnose the signal problem and check for any other potential issues.

Yep, you were right. Turns out a plug on the siren was loose and corroded. 95€ later and the system is back online. Thanks for the help!
