Skoda Citigo Electric Electrical Problems

I'm having some serious electrical issues with my 2020 Skoda Citigo Electric. There's an error stored in the error memory, a general electrical malfunction, and the navigation system is completely dead. All signs point to an implausible programming of the control unit. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Citigo. The navigation went haywire, and I was getting random error messages. Did you try a hard reset of the system?

I tried a basic reset, but nothing changed. When you had the issue, were there any errors stored in the error memory? And are you sure that the electrical malfunction was similar?

Yes, the error memory was full of nonsense. The electrical malfunction was causing some weirdness with the lights and indicators too. I'd bet it's a software bug in the control module. You'll probably need a software enhancement. Take it to a workshop; they can reflash the control unit.

Thanks for confirming. I took it to the workshop, and as suspected, it was a software malfunction in the control unit. A software enhancement and reprogramming of the control module fixed the problem. Cost me 240€, but at least it's sorted.
