Thank you for your response. I have checked the microphone volume control and verified that the ambient noise is minimal. The issue persists even with the wireless connection disabled. Could you elaborate on the symptoms you experienced with your Renault Megane before the Bluetooth completely failed?

Yes, before the complete failure, the voice recognition was erratic, and the wireless connection would drop intermittently, leading to distorted audio during calls. Eventually, it stopped working entirely. Considering the error code, it's likely a hardware issue. I ended up having to replace the entire unit. Given your symptoms, I suggest a visit to the workshop.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It does seem I am facing a similar situation. I have taken the vehicle to a certified workshop. Indeed, the infotainment system is defective, and the hands-free microphone issue is a consequence of it. The repair will cost approximately 815€. I appreciate your advice.

I had a similar issue with my Renault Megane a few years back. The Bluetooth connection kept dropping, and the voice recognition became unusable. Have you checked the volume control settings for the microphone within the audio system's menu? Sometimes, a simple adjustment there can resolve the problem. Also, ensure there isn't excessive ambient noise affecting the microphone's performance.
