Skoda Citigo Electric Poor Starting
Summary of the thread
A Skoda Citigo Electric was experiencing poor starting, suspected to be due to a 'Terminal 30 continuous plus interrupted' issue, potentially caused by a heavily discharged or defective battery. Suggestions included checking for a voltage drop across the ignition switch, which could indicate an intermittent power issue to the starter motor. Ultimately, the problem was resolved by replacing the battery, confirming it as the root cause.

Voltage Drop at the Ignition Switch? How do I test that? Can I do it with a multimeter, or should I leave it to a professional?

A multimeter is useful here. But if you're not comfortable probing around live wires, I suggest taking it to a workshop. Given the symptoms and your battery suspicion, it’s the most likely cause. To avoid potential problems, let them properly diagnose the Charging System.

Just picked up the Citigo from the shop. You nailed it! It was the battery. It's starting perfectly now with the new battery. The cost was 290€. Thanks so much for the help!

Sounds like a familiar problem. I had similar starting issues with my Citigo. Have you checked for a Voltage Drop across the Ignition Switch when you try to start the engine? An intermittent power issue to the Starter Motor can be caused by a faulty switch.
