Skoda Citigo Electric Temperature Sensor Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Skoda Citigo electric vehicle is experiencing issues with the outside temperature sensor, leading to problems with the air conditioning, spray nozzles, and mirror heating. The likely cause is identified as a cable or plug connection issue with the sensor. A similar case involved a corroded connector, which was resolved by a workshop. The suggested solution is to have the wiring and connections checked and repaired by professionals.

Did you have the same error code stored? And what exactly was wrong with the wiring? Was it just a loose plug, or a damaged cable?

Yeah, same error code, if I remember correctly. For me, it was a corroded connector. I tried cleaning it, but no joy. Bit of a pain, but the workshop sorted it quick enough. Probably best to get it checked rather than messing about too much with sensor diagnostics.

Thanks, that's cleared things up. Turned out to be a dodgy connection as you suspected. 95€ later and all sorted. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues on my Citigo. Check the wiring to the outside temperature sensor first. Seems like a common fault. Is your vehicle temperature gauge acting weird too?
