By system reset, do you mean disconnecting the battery? I have not checked the error codes myself.

Disconnecting the battery for a bit, then reconnecting. Doubt it'll fix a defective control unit though. Mine needed diagnostics at a workshop. Turned out to be a sensor issue messing with the automotive electronics. Given the symptoms, you're probably best taking it to a garage with the right tools to properly diagnose the control system.

The main relay was defective, as suspected, which caused the engine control unit to malfunction. The repair cost 120€. Now the engine performance is back to normal.

Sounds like a pain! I had something similar happen with my Citigo. Reduced engine performance and warning lights all over the dash. Have you tried a system reset? I'm no expert, but that sometimes clears things up. What error code are you getting?
