Skoda Citigo fuel sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Skoda Citigo owner is experiencing a check engine light and occasional engine stalling at idle, with an error code indicating a fuel level sensor fault. The issue may be related to a defective fuse or a faulty fuel sensor. A similar case suggests that replacing the faulty sensor resolved the problem, and it is recommended to have the vehicle checked by a professional.

The fuel gauge does seem a bit off sometimes, yeah. How did you fix it?

Yup, sounds like the fuel sensor to me! Mine was totally shot. The garage said it's a common thing. Honestly, I'm not mechanically minded enough to fix it myself, so I took it to a workshop. They replaced the faulty sensor, and it was all good after that. Think of it like a dodgy thermostat, but for your fuel! You could try checking the fuse first like you said, but it might just be a bad sensor. I'd say get it checked out by someone who knows their stuff.

It was indeed the fuel sensor. I got it replaced, cost me 52€. Thanks for your help!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had almost the EXACT same thing happen with my Citigo! Check engine light, the whole shebang. Was driving me nuts! Does your fuel gauge go bonkers too? Like, empty when it's half full?
