Skoda Citigo rough idle and error memory issue

I haven't checked the cable or plug connections myself. Where exactly are they located? And how can I tell if the rubber mount is actually defective? Should I be looking for cracks or something?

The cable/plug is usually right on the engine mount itself – you'll probably need a flashlight and maybe a mirror to get a good look. As for the rubber mount, check for cracks, tears, or if it looks generally collapsed compared to the transmission mount. But honestly, if you're not super comfortable poking around, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose it and replace the engine mount if needed. Better safe than sorry, especially with engine mounts. The vibrations can cause even more damage.

Thanks for the help! The shop confirmed it was a defective engine mount. They replaced it, costing 95€. The Citigo is running smoothly again.

Sounds like mount wear to me! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Uneven idling and a stored error code are pretty telling signs. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the engine mount itself? Sometimes a loose connection can cause these symptoms. A defective engine mount can cause all sorts of vibrations, leading to those issues. Is the vibration worse when the engine is cold?
