Skoda Citigo Windshield Heater Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Skoda Citigo owner experienced a windshield heater malfunction, with error memory indicating a problem and spray nozzles freezing in cold temperatures. The likely cause was identified as a defective cable or plug connection. Another Citigo owner confirmed similar issues due to a faulty plug providing power to the heating element. The problem was resolved by repairing the defective cable at a workshop.

Interesting. Can you provide a bit more detail? Where exactly was the faulty plug located?

Yes, the symptoms sound identical. For me, it was indeed a defective plug that provides power to the heating element. Given the age of our cars and winter driving conditions, this is not unusual. I would suggest taking it to a workshop for inspection. It's probably a quick fix.

Thank you for confirming. I took it to a local workshop, and they found a defective cable, just as you suspected. The repair cost 95€. All working again!

I had similar issues with my Citigo. The windshield wipers were freezing up in winter driving. Have you checked the cable connections to the windshield heater? Mine was a faulty plug.
