Skoda Fabia Automatic Transmission Shifting Issues

Alright, so I'm kinda freaking out here. My 2022 Skoda Fabia (gasoline engine) with almost 75000 km on it is acting up. The automatic transmission is shifting weirdly, like it's hesitating or something. The transmission indicator light is on, and it just doesn't shift like it used to. Feels like it's stuck in emergency mode or something. Could it be the transmission oil worn out already?

Sounds like a classic case of transmission problems. I had similar implausible shifting behavior with my Skoda Fabia. The transmission performance degraded noticeably. Check for undervoltage; it can cause havoc with the automatic gearbox. Is your transmission indicator light on?

Undervoltage, huh? How would I even check that? And yeah, the transmission indicator light is definitely on, adding to my stress!

The undervoltage can cause a cascade of issues with the car transmission's electronic controls, resulting in the symptoms you described. It's best to get it checked at a workshop. They can properly diagnose the root cause and perform an oil replacement if needed to restore transmission performance.

Thanks so much for the insight! Took it to the workshop and they confirmed it. Turns out undervoltage had messed with the car transmission. Had the oil replaced, cost me 240€, and now the automatic gearbox is working smoothly again. Really appreciate the help!
