Skoda Fabia Rear Window Heating Problem

My 2002 Skoda Fabia with a gasoline engine has a rear window heating issue. The car has 106412 km on it. It's not working, and there's an error stored in the error memory. Also the windshield heating isn't working as usual. Could this be related? I've checked the fuse; it seems fine.

A load test assesses the battery's capacity under stress. Given the symptoms and your troubleshooting, a heavily discharged or defective battery is the likely culprit. I would suggest having the battery professionally tested; I expect it will need replacement.

Thanks for confirming. I took it to a workshop, and it turned out that the battery was indeed defective. After replacing it the rear window heating works again. The car defrost is now working as expected. It cost me 290€.
