Skoda Kamiq AdBlue Error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Skoda Kamiq with a diesel engine displayed an "AdBlue tank empty" error, preventing the engine from starting. The issue was suspected to be related to the AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit. A similar problem was resolved by addressing a faulty level sensor that affected the SCR catalyst. The solution involved a workshop visit for proper diagnosis and repair, costing 250€.

Fuel efficiency seemed normal. How was your DEF fluid level before the error? Did the engine refuse to start as well?

Yes, same symptoms. Engine wouldn't start. The level sensor was faulty which caused the SCR catalyst to malfunction because it wasn't getting enough DEF fluid. I'd suggest a workshop visit; they can properly diagnose the tank capacity and dosing unit.

The diagnosis confirmed a defective AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit, as suspected. The repair was 250€.

Empty AdBlue tank? I had a similar problem with my Kamiq. The error messages were worrying. Did you notice any changes in fuel efficiency before this?
