That's a good idea. I haven't checked the live data. Should the reading change immediately when the temperature in the car changes, or is there a delay?

The interior temperature reading should change relatively quickly, but not instantly. A significant delay or no change at all indicates a faulty sensor or wiring. Given the error code and symptoms, I'd lean towards the cable or plug connection being defective as you mentioned. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop.

The Kamiq is finally sorted. The workshop confirmed a dodgy connection with the interior temperature sensor. 95€ later, the climate control is back to normal. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Sounds like HVAC sensor issues. Have you checked the sensor's live temperature reading using a diagnostic tool? Does it show a plausible value, or is it stuck or fluctuating wildly?
