Yes, there is an error stored in the error memory. You mentioned your Kamiq had similar issues. Was it also a sensor problem, and did it affect the digital display in the speedometer?

Yep, it sounds like the same gremlin I had! The sensor problem caused all sorts of havoc with the gear selector and the digital display. The workshop said it was a known issue with the control unit. I'd suggest taking it in; they'll probably recommend replacing the whole unit.

Took the Kamiq to the workshop, and you were spot on. They confirmed the control unit was faulty and replaced it. The gear selection display is working perfectly again. Cost me around 1000€, thanks for your help!
