Skoda Kamiq Blower Motor Problem

Alright, I'm experiencing a rather annoying issue with my 2022 Skoda Kamiq, diesel engine. The blower motor seems to have given up the ghost. The climate control panel lights up, but no air is coming out of the vents. I've checked the fuses, and they're all fine. I have 50690 km on the clock. A friend suggested it might be related to the cabin air sensor or even some kind of odor sensor messing things up with the HVAC system. Anyone else experienced this or have any ideas what could be causing this? Could it be a faulty air quality sensor?

I had a similar problem with my Kamiq. Check your AUC sensor – the air quality sensor for the climate control. Blower motor not working is a classic symptom.

Where exactly is that air quality sensor located? Is it easy to get to? I'm reasonably handy and might want to check the connections myself before taking it to the shop.

Mine was the air quality sensor. They called it the AUC sensor. I didn't try to fix it myself, I just took it to the workshop. It's probably a defective cable or plug connection like they said. Best take it in, it's not worth messing with and making it worse.

Just wanted to let you know that it was indeed the air quality sensor. The workshop confirmed a defective cable/plug connection. They replaced it for 95€. Everything works fine now. Thanks for your help!
