Skoda Kamiq Car Alarm Defect

I'm writing to inquire about an issue I've encountered with my 2023 Skoda Kamiq, gasoline engine. The vehicle has about 52340 km. I've received an alarm indicating the additional battery alarm system is defective, so the car alarm is non-functional. I suspect it is a battery problem, perhaps discharged due to ageing. I am anticipating a repair cost of around 330€. Any thoughts on this electrical issue?

I had a similar car alarm problem with my Kamiq. Sounds like an auxiliary battery problem. Did you do a system diagnosis?

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, there is an error stored in the error memory and the car alarm system is not working. How did you determine it was the auxiliary battery specifically? Was there a specific test?

The system diagnosis pointed to it. I didn't do any specific test myself, the workshop did. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop for proper diagnosis and replacement of the auxiliary battery.

The workshop confirmed the auxiliary battery was the problem. The total cost was about 330€. Thanks for the help!
