Skoda Kamiq Diesel Engine Issues
Summary of the thread

Thanks for the quick reply! I did give the wiring a quick look, but honestly, I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Could it be something else entirely? Like, maybe a bigger engine issue?

Given the symptoms and the error code, it really does point to the IAT sensor. While it could be something else eventually, it's highly likely the sensor. I'd still recommend taking it to a workshop for a proper car diagnostics check. Replacing the IAT sensor is a relatively inexpensive car sensor repair, so you won't be breaking the bank.

Just got my Skoda Kamiq back. It was indeed the IAT sensor. The car sensor replacement plus labor cost me 155€. Runs like a dream now! Thanks a bunch for your help!

Sounds like a faulty intake air temperature sensor could definitely be the culprit, especially with those symptoms and error code. Have you checked the wiring to the IAT sensor for any damage or corrosion? Sometimes it's a simple fix.
