Skoda Kamiq ECU problem

Whoa sounds like a proper headache. I had something similar with my Kamiq – though mine's a petrol. Navigation packed in, and the dash lit up. Did you run a full onboard diagnostics scan? Could be ECU problems throwing up all sorts of phantom errors. I'd bet it's a software bug.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I ran the onboard diagnostics and there was an error stored in the error memory indicating a programming issue with the control unit. When you say similar, was it also a software malfunction? And did a software refresh fix it?

Yep, absolute software malfunction. They reflashed the ECU, basically a software refresh and that sorted it. It's under warranty though so didn't cost me anything. Get it to the workshop, sounds like they need to do the same for yours.

I took my Skoda Kamiq to the workshop today. Turns out the ECU programming was indeed implausible. They performed a software refresh and the issue seems to be resolved. Cost me 240€ but at least it's sorted.
