Skoda Kamiq Electric Steering Problem

My 2020 Skoda Kamiq diesel, with 225067 km, has an electric steering adjustment failure. Error memory says the steering column can’t be adjusted electrically. I suspect a cable or plug issue. Is this a common steering issue?

Sounds like a comms issue on the CAN bus, potentially to the J519. Have you checked the relevant fuses and wiring looms for corrosion or damage?

J519 is the onboard supply control unit. Without proper tools, tracing a CAN bus fault for the electric adjustment is a pain. Error in memory and no adjustment points to power or ground. Probably best to get it to a workshop; they'll diagnose it quickly with ODIS.
