Skoda Kamiq fuel filler flap issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Skoda Kamiq owner experienced an issue with the fuel filler flap not opening, rendering some vehicle functions unavailable. The problem was suspected to be related to the fuel flap lock actuator, possibly due to a defective linkage. After attempting basic troubleshooting, the owner took the car to a workshop where the actuator was replaced, resolving the issue.

Thanks. I checked the release button, seems fine. Yes, I tried the key fob. Still no luck. I do have an error stored in the error memory, but not sure what it means. Did you have the same error? Did you manage to fix it yourself or did you go to the workshop?

Yeah, I had the same error stored. Sounds like the lock actuator. I tried a few things, but in the end, I had to take it to the workshop. It's likely a defective linkage, as they said. Best to get it checked by a professional.

Thanks for the confirmation. Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. They replaced the fuel flap lock actuator. Cost me 210€ all in. Working perfectly now.

I had a similar issue with my Kamiq. Check the fuel filler flap release button in the glove compartment. It might be stuck or faulty. Also, have you tried using the key fob to unlock all doors? Sometimes that triggers the fuel flap to release. Is there an error message on the dashboard?
