Skoda Kamiq Headlight Range Control Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Skoda Kamiq with a diesel engine is experiencing a headlight range control malfunction, indicated by an error in the memory and a warning light on the speedometer. The low beams are misaligned, either pointing too low or too high. The suspected cause is a defective servomotor in the headlight. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle serviced at a workshop for part replacement and recalibration of the auto-leveling system.

The warning light is constantly on. I gave the electrical connectors a quick look, but everything seemed seated properly. When you had this problem, did your low beams also point way too low?

Yes, that's exactly what happened to mine! The low beams were completely out of whack. I'd advise you to skip any further DIY attempts and head straight to a workshop. It's likely a recalibration issue after replacing the faulty part. Why risk making it worse?

Took it to the workshop. It was a defective servomotor in the headlight, as I thought. They replaced it, and after recalibrating the auto-leveling system, it's working again. Cost me 1040€. Thanks for your help!

Headlight range control fault, eh? Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Kamiq. Was the warning light constantly on? Did you check the electrical connectors to the headlight? Is the control module throwing any codes?
